BIke to Work Day is May 8

Join us for the 2014 Bike to Work (or Wherever) Day on Thursday, May 8. The Review is hosting an energizer station at the Coastal trail picnic tables above Surfers Beach at Coronado. We plan on setting up around 6:30 a.m. and will be out there until 9:30 a.m.

Fresh air, a bit of exercise and a day without the car are the prime motivators, but we'll try to sweeten the pot with some tasty snacks, coffee and a goodie mag provided by commute.org (while supplies last!). PLUS, every participant can enter a drawing to win a new Cruiser bike from Bike Works! If you are a Review subscriber, we'll give you an additional entry. If not, sign up on the spot and get 2 more entries! Additional entries can be added with a $5 donation to our Newspapers in Education program.

We realize that it not realistic for many to use their bike to commute, but if you're up for a morning bike ride on the Coastal Trail, that's good enough for us! See you there.

Great idea and hope everyone has a good time.

I look forward to one of the "goodie mags" (where is that editor when you need them)
