POWER RANKINGS: Here's who has the best chance ...

POWER RANKINGS: Here's who has the best chance at being our next president", Web Link

For many, perhaps most, this is expected. For others, this is what they fight so hard against.

We'll know with certainty in less than one year, but the ranking provided here seems reasonable (to reasonable people). It seems it's Hillary's to lose.

No wonder the GOP is in such disarray. Yet another election where they couldn't come up with a leader. Well, there's always 2020 - but were I in any position in the GOP, I'd start looking around for a leader like yesterday. It may take the GOP Another eight years to find one ... if we're lucky.

Looks like criminal probes and potential indictments didn't figure into their prognostications.

".. criminal probes and potential indictments .."?

Not to worry; Perry already quit (he's good at that) and you aren't a candidate.

Now if lying were a crime, they'd all have something to be concerned about - but it seems that one can say just about anything when campaigning and it's OK!?!

I can hear a long collective sigh of relief from all the GOP candidates as I type this.

Whew!

^^^ Now if lying were a crime, ^^^

Lying to authorities can be a crime for everyone, with the possible exception of the Clintons.

Exposing national secrets on an unsecured server in order to avoid FOIA requests is definitely a federal crime.

For some reason, that doesn't penetrate the thick skull of one particular Democrat cheerleader.

Yes, they've found two top secret communiques on the Clinton server. Out of 10's of 1000's. And they were both sent outside the government-controlled ecosystem to the Clinton server by...Republicans.

I sure hope the Republicans who released top secret info don't get charged with anything.

OK, maybe just a little investigative committee, similar to the BENGAAAAAZZZZEEEE!!! committee. You know, where nothing is really achieved but millions in wasted taxpayer's money and Trey Gowdy looked like one of those wind-up chimps with cymbals.

We can go after the two trespassers for political purposes, since the GOP has broken that ground so solidly. Rough 'em up and make them uncomfortable. It's a healthy process, right?

"Coasters" continues to share its ignorance about the law as well as the facts. There are hundreds of emails on that unsecured server that were classified, perhaps more. And those are only about half of the total -- the FBI obtained the rest after seizing her server. Yes, the one that was discovered during the Benghazi hearings. The FBI restored the tens of thousands of emails that she tried to delete. Public documents that she tried to withhold from the public in violation of the law.

It ain't all rosy for Clinton until Comey says so, in which case The Great Canvas Pantsuit may need an assist from Loretta Lynch.

Pahleeze; Anyone hitching their team of horses to Gowdy is in very deep denial and trouble. I mean really? Talk about "ignorance"! Pot meet kettle.

"Where the Benghazi Committee Went Wrong", Web Link

This, from the piece, is discussing the hearing the day Clinton sat before the committee and testified: "Trey Gowdy and his colleagues on the Select Committee had turned up nothing new—nada—that linked the former Secretary of State to the lax consular-security arrangements identified in previous reports, including one issued in 2012 by the State Department’s own Accountability Review Board."

"That was confirmed during the afternoon session, as the Republican questioners went over the same ground repeatedly. At one of the many low points, Roskam undermined his earlier points with a blatantly political attack, accusing Clinton of trying to spin Qaddafi’s overthrow to her own advantage and accusing her—shock, horror—of taking a “victory lap” on the Sunday talk shows."

"Of course, none of this had anything to do with what happened in Benghazi."

Big surprise, huh?

The piece closes with: "Most ordinary Americans, after following the hearings online or watching the coverage on the evening news, will have been wondering what all the fuss was about. Setting aside the basest form of partisan politics, the answer was not very much at all."

But of course our little buddy from Gualala isn't "most people", is he? Good Luck with that old tired horse and buggy, francis. Keep spouting off about Benghazi - stay in first gear while everyone else on the highway have their cruise control set at 70, and wonder why everyone is passing you by.

Coasters is right (again); "Trey Gowdy looked like one of those wind-up chimps with cymbals." The pic provided for this piece confirms it. See for yourself.

The GOP, with all their wisdom and Our money, continue down that abandoned trail of conspiracy when to win in 2016 they should be blazing a trail with the oh so many real issues we face going forward; but that would require real leadership ... something that seems to have escaped the GOP to date.

Maybe that's why the "Power Rankings are the way they are? Good chance, huh francis?

"Coasters" continues to share its ignorance about the law as well as the facts.

That's an interesting perspective given that the BENGAAAAAZZZZEEEE!!! Committee achieved nothing and the Power Pants Suit is about to wipe-up with your boys, Donald and Dummer, like the greazy little wet spots they are.

But you keep hoping, Mr D. It's all you've got, but it ain't much.
