The satirical news site warned the Iraq War would fuel "a million bin Ladens."

"The Onion Predicted The Rise Of The Islamic State In 2003" / "The satirical news site warned the Iraq War would fuel "a million bin Ladens." Web Link

No offense to The Onion, but they weren't alone in their forecast. It didn't take a rocket scientist to see this coming. Problem is, we didn't have a rocket scientist in the White House in 2003 ... not even close.

Yet we now hear from some that this latest terrorist attack in France, the second one this year in France (Charlie Hedbo), is somehow Obama's fault?!

The damage Bush caused has altered everyone's future around the world, but hey, he did it for daddy so all's well on his ranch. Yep, daddy's alive and well and Saddam ... well, we know how that turned out.

Way to go, Jr; great job ... and his brother wants your vote!

Sorry, I forgot to provide the lead-in: "WASHINGTON -- In March 2003, soon after the U.S. invaded Iraq, a news outlet predicted the war would be a colossal disaster that would ultimately destabilize the Middle East and fuel the rise of anti-Western forces willing to die for a fundamentalist cause."

"That outlet was The Onion. And the satirical news site nailed it."

"In a point-counterpoint op-ed titled "This War Will Destabilize The Entire Mideast Region And Set Off A Global Shockwave Of Anti-Americanism vs. No It Won't," the fictional Nathan Eckert eerily described a world in which newly radicalized militants fueled by hate, much like the Islamic State, rise up after the war and obtain weapons of mass destruction to try to drive out Western influence."

"If you thought Osama bin Laden was bad, just wait until the countless children who become orphaned by U.S. bombs in the coming weeks are all grown up. Do you think they will forget what country dropped the bombs that killed their parents?" said Eckert. "In 10 or 15 years, we will look back fondly on the days when there were only a few thousand Middle Easterners dedicated to destroying the U.S. and willing to die for the fundamentalist cause."

He added, "From this war, a million bin Ladens will bloom."

President Mubarak, then the leader of Egypt issued President Bush the following warning

"When it is over, if it is over, this war will have terrible consequences. Instead of having one Osama bin Laden we will have 100 bin Ladens."

Of course we did not listen to him or the French or the Germans or the Chinese or..........

We already have our Bin Ladens here. And worse, our presidential candidates on the right, seem to condone these outrageous, grievous proclamations.

Being willful and cock-sure is what passes for thinking these days.

The party that called Obama "The Amateur" are now clapping like circus seals for a retarded brain surgeon and a reality TV star

Amateurs are okay when they pander appropriately.

Almost no one studies history - a history that foretells exactly what we're seeing happen. Iraq was one on the most costly Vick-ups in history and it was pushed by the sand type of morons worried about Syrian refugees.

Love auto-correct....not
