They got more nothin'

Looks like Trey Gowdy inserted his own fake redactions in order to make it look like Clinton was outing CIA analysts. These cowards will do anything to try and discredit Hillary.

"Bill Press: Benghazi hearing is a sham", Web Link

"It’s not rocket science that’s missing in Washington today — it’s just plain common sense. And common sense would tell House Republicans to pull the plug on Thursday’s hearing of the House Select Committee on Benghazi."

"According to Politico, even before Boehner created the Select Committee, Benghazi had already been the subject of 13 congressional hearings, 25,000 pages of documents and 50 briefings — none of which uncovered any wrongdoing on Clinton’s part. In fact, a bipartisan report by the Senate Intelligence Committee concluded, “There were no efforts by the White House or any other executive branch entities to ‘cover-up’ facts or make alterations for political purposes.”

"So why convene a Select Committee? Because the committee’s primary purpose was to discredit and derail Clinton’s candidacy for president in 2016."

"That’s why, when Issa failed to destroy Clinton, largely because he was preoccupied with his own self-promotion, Boehner took the job away from him and handed it to Gowdy. And that’s why, when Gowdy’s Benghazi digging also came up empty-handed, the Speaker suddenly ordered the committee to focus on the former secretary’s emails — even though that issue had also already been the subject of countless congressional hearings, with zero results."

"The Select Committee on Benghazi has been part of a partisan political witch-hunt from Day 1. And, unfortunately for House Republicans, that was confirmed by none other than Mr. Malaprop himself, GOP Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (Calif.), when he famously told Fox News: “Everybody thought that Hillary Clinton was unbeatable, right? But we put together a Benghazi special committee, a select committee. What are her numbers today? Her numbers are dropping.” His candid take on the committee’s real purpose was later echoed by Rep. Richard Hanna (R-N.Y.), who told WIBX in Utica: “This may not be politically correct, but I think that there was a big part of this investigation that was designed to go after people and an individual: Hillary Clinton.”

"So, the cat’s out of the bag. Republicans are using a House committee and taxpayer dollars — $4.5 million so far — to play politics against Hillary Clinton."

"If Trey Gowdy had any self-respect, he’d resign as chairman, rather than continue to lead such a travesty of governance."

At what point do Americans say enough is enough?

Oh yeah, let's prove our point by calling people "trolls." Yawn.

Sorry for the duplication. It was a mistake, not necessarily double true.

^^^ Oh yeah, let's prove our point by calling people "trolls." Yawn. ^^^

A dose of reality and a bit of introspection would be beneficial.

Then again, a partison hack like George Muteff clearly does not care about what happened in Benghazi or why.

Four dead Americans mean nothing to partisan hacks like George (unless ... BUSH!!!).

That a SoS and other administration official clearly and unequivocally lied about Benghazi means nothing to partisan hacks like George.

That the Obama Administration and Clinton herself have been slow to release relevant documents means nothing to a partisan hack like George.

But that's how partisan hacks roll. They just get a bit testy when they're called on it.

"Benghazi Hearings Cancelled After Clinton Drops Out of Race", Web Link

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Washington was in turmoil on Tuesday morning as a House select committee abruptly cancelled its Benghazi hearings shortly after former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced that she was withdrawing from the Presidential race.

Secretary Clinton’s stunning announcement came at 9:00 A.M., followed by the committee chairman Trey Gowdy’s decision to cancel the hearings at 9:04.

“As you know, we have been preparing for this week’s hearings for months,” Gowdy said. “However, after meeting with fellow committee members over the past four minutes, we’ve come to the conclusion that we know all we need to know about Benghazi.”

Gowdy flatly denied that the decision to cancel the long-awaited Benghazi hearings had anything to do with Clinton’s sudden departure from the race. “We wish her well in whatever her future endeavors may be,” he said.

But shortly after Gowdy’s announcement, Clinton called an impromptu press conference at 9:13 to announce that she was jumping back into the race. “I was just trying to prove a point,” she told reporters, before heading off to campaign stops in Iowa and New Hampshire.

Minutes after Clinton’s second announcement, an irate Gowdy called her decision to reenter the race “beyond unethical” and revealed that the committee’s investigators had just uncovered fresh evidence about Benghazi.

I'm watching the hearing.

There is nothing new to come-out of the 8 different investigations. There is no evidence that incriminates Hillary anymore than any of our leaders in the last several instances of violence against a US embassy. That means she's both innocent and well-prepared to meet any partisan bull-pucky.

That's incredibly foolish and impulsive of the GOP witch hunters.

I'm certain these cretins had no idea that their little absurdity, this petite circus of pin worms, would turn into one of the best showcases of Clinton's experience and utter qualification to be POTUS.

Everyone else on the stage looks like a shrill amateur. Her team must be ecstatic for the free, full-length political advertisement where the GOP look like petty, wasteful villains and Hillary looks like a competent, experienced leader.

I wonder who voted to cut embassy security funding?

^^^ There is nothing new to come-out of the 8 different investigations. ^^^

That's the wishful thinking of a partisan hack. Or an outright lie, otherwise known as "a Democrat Talking Point."

Trey Gowdy's Committee interviewed several witnesses that previous committees had not. And, more significantly, the Benghazi Committee discovered the existence of The Inevitable Madam Hillary's double-extra-secret home email server and tens of thousands of previously undisclosed emails. It's what prompted the FBI to start looking into the matter.

What may be more truthful is that "Coasters" doesn't care what happened before, during and after the Benghazi attacks or that Hillary clearly lied to the American people about what transpired or that Hillary demonstrated that she was incompetent when it comes to protecting her own staff let alone national security.

What's so sad is not that Hillary is a lying incompetent that is seriously being considered for president. What is sad and truly disturbing is that so many Democrats don't care that she's incompetent and a liar.

If there is ever a remake of Deliverance, Trey would make a perfect couch porch banjo picker.

Again, you clowns got nuthin'. Your partisan witch hunt is blowing-up like an under-funded embassy perimeter.

Reap what you've sown.

The plot has finally thickened!

Chris Stevens didn't get extra security because Hillary had private email. It's as plain as the nose on Voldemort's face.

In addition, the Obama administrations "failed Libya policy" was concocted by journalist Sidney Blumenthal and promoted via his Svengali-like influence on Hillary.

Such nothingness. The sound of one tongue wagging.

When do we get to do this to war criminal Dick Cheney?

^^^ If there is ever a remake of Deliverance, Trey would make a perfect couch porch banjo picker. ^^^

Sounds like a rather shallow defense of Hillary's incompetence to me. Then again, I care about the adverse consequences of Hillary's incompetence.

S.E. Cupp points out the hypocrisy of the Democrats charging that the Benghazi Committee is politicized:

Web Link

Democrats have been naked in their affinity for making partisan politics out of the supposedly apolitical, whether the issue is mass shootings, torture or the Iraq War. Complaints from Democrats about the number of Benghazi hearings are almost comical when one remembers that then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi sent out a press release in 2007 on the “71 hearings already held on issues related to Iraq War.” She was bragging, not complaining.

But I already know that!

U.S. Embassy attacks since 2000:

N

Paris, France, September 13, 2001: Four men were arrested in Rotterdam on conspiracy to plant a suicide bomber in the U.S. embassy in Paris. The NATO headquarters in Brussels was also targeted. The plot was discovered in July 2001 when a conspirator named Djamel Beghal was arrested in Dubai for passport fraud. He confessed after an interrogation. All the conspirators were part of a small satellite of Al-Qaeda.

Karachi, Pakistan, June 14, 2002, February 28, 2003, March 15, 2004, and March 2, 2006:The string of bombings and attempted bombings outside the U.S. consult in Karachi were thought to be in retaliation for the War on Terror in Afghanistan, and later Iraq. The first bomb in June 2002 was a suicide bomber, who killed 12 and injured 51 people. In February 2003, a gunman killed two police officer and injured five others outside the consulate. In March 2004, an attempted bombing was stopped when police discovered 200 gallons of liquid explosives in the back of a truck. In March 2006, another suicide bomber killed six people outside a nearby Marriott Hotel.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan, July 30, 2004: The U.S. and Israeli embassies were targeted by suicide bombers. Two security guards were killed.

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, December 6, 2004: Militants breached the outer wall of the U.S. consulate and began shooting, but did not enter the consulate. Five civilians and the gunmen were killed. Ten people were wounded.

Damascus, Syria, September 12, 2006: Three gunmen were killed after they tossed grenades over the embassy's outer wall and a car bomb exploded outside the embassy. A Syrian security guard and a Chinese diplomat also died.

Athens, Greece, January 12, 2007: A rocket-propelled grenade was fired into the front of the U.S. embassy around 6 am in the morning. No one was killed or hurt. A Greek terrorist group called "Revolutionary Struggle" claimed responsibility.

Istanbul, Turkey, July 9, 2008: Kurdish Turks open fired around 11 am, killing six people and injuring one. The three men had suspected Al-Qaeda links, but this was never proven.

San'a, Yemen, September 7, 2008: 19 people died and at least 16 were injured when a group of men disguised at police attacked the outer security rim of the U.S. embassy. Al-Qaeda affiliate Islamic Jihad of Yemen claimed responsibility.

In none of these cases was any Secretary of State grilled by Congressional Committees. In one of these cases was the Secretary of State declared criminal or incompetent.

It's pretty amazing really, when you think about it.

It seems that there actually are folks that think and want to believe that members of our Admin get some joy from the deaths in Benghazi.

Hard to compre\hend ... as if.

Further, one has to wonder how many average Americans actually give a s*^# now, after all the investigations, accusations and admissions. Aside from soundbites on the evening news, I have to believe that the average Jane/Joe has more pressing issues in their lives.

Unless this committee can come up with some sort of real (not imagined, not fabricated, not unrealistic) smoking gun (I can't imagine what that might be, though), this committee is done and this 'investigation' is over.

Of course there are some that will never let go, that are absolutely certain that Obama, members of his staff and the X-Secretary all partied like it was 1999 while American blood was being let.

Go figure.

For those with a sense of humor, Gowdy sure is a funny guy.

If you have nothing and just can't yell at your (self-imposed) opponent, then just let your colleagues have it.

"Of the seven previous investigations, two were bipartisan investigations conducted by the U.S. Senate. But the majority were GOP-led investigations by Gowdy’s fellow Congressional Republicans."

"They included the House Committee on Armed Services, chaired by then-Rep. Buck McKeon (R-CA), the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, chaired by Rep. Ed Royce (R-CA); the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, lead by then-Rep. Mike Rogers (R-MI); the House Committee on the Judiciary, chaired by Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-VA); and the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform committee, chaired by Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA)"

"When he announced that he was appointed Gowdy’s Benghazi committee, Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH) praised the five other investigations for their “extraordinary work, using their subpoena power, holding dozens of hearings, and conducting hundreds of interviews.”

High praise from the Speaker.

Am I mistaken, or is the head of each committee mentioned above a republican? Yeah, I thought so. I have to say that Issa is my personal fav.

But we're after the truth in the most sincere non-partisan manner, aren't we?That's what the current committee republicans now say in their damage control mode.

The Guardian

"With a calm demeanor and detailed answers, Hillary Rodham Clinton turned an 11-hour congressional grilling on the deadly Benghazi attacks into an opportunity to look more presidential than political."

ABC News

"Despite the committee sitting in four consecutive hours-long sessions on Thursday, the hearing yielded little new information.

Mrs Clinton remained composed during the highly-anticipated testimony, amid several heated exchanges between Republicans and her Democrat allies."

BBC

"Ultimately, analysts suggested the hearing might not move the dial much either way – Republican critics continued to voice frustration Thursday at her responses, while congressional Democrats spent the better part of the day defending her.

"In the short-term, this has probably not changed the minds of anyone watching the proceedings,” Republican strategist Ron Bonjean said."

Fox News

"After the hearing, even Gowdy told a gaggle of reporters that not much new was discovered.

"I don't know that she testified that much differently today than previous testimonies," he said."

Funny what some people call "nothing." We now know that Hillary shared the truth with her family and the Egyptian government, but lied to the American people.

We now know that it was a full cover-up by the Obama Administration (and the media that acts as their praetorian guard) so they could maintain the now laughable assertion that "al Qaeda is on the run."

And we now know that she blames Ambassador Stevens for the lapse in security directly attributable to her.

Those facts are indisputable. The only question now is why facts don't matter to Hillary supporters and why they would support such a liar with a rich history of peddling falsehoods.

"Everybody thought Hillary Clinton was unbeatable, right? But we put together a Benghazi special committee, a select committee," McCarthy said. "What are her numbers today? Her numbers are dropping. Why? Because she's untrustable. But no one would have have known any of that had happened had we not fought and made that happen."

Radical leftists demonstrate once again that they don't care about truthfulness or incompetence or national security. What else can explain their willingness to defend the indefensible?

This one is for the phonies complaining about the cost of the Benghazi Committee (much of which is due to stonewalling by the Obama Administration and The Inevitable Madam Hillary:

The amount of taxpayer funding that has gone toward the investigation into the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, is less than the amount the federal government has invested in “Origami condoms” and studies on why lesbians are obese.

Never heard a peep from the clipped-hair mean-faced crowd on that waste. Then again, they didn't involve 4 dead Americans due to Obama's and Hillary's incompetence.

Actually, Honeyswallow, it was the Dems who insisted that the much-ado-about nothing transcripts of Sidney Blumenthals emails be made public and (surprise) the moral pipsqueaks of the GOP voted against it.

This farce of a process ain't about the truth and transparency. The GOP has admitted that and now proven it.

"WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—In an official statement on Friday morning, former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton thanked the House Select Committee on Benghazi for what she called an “invaluable service to my Presidential campaign.”

In contrast with the adversarial tone of much of Thursday’s hearings, Clinton’s statement was characterized by fulsome gratitude as she singled out the Republicans on the committee for praise.

“For months, my campaign has been rocked by difficulties and doubts,” she said. “Yesterday, with your help, all of that changed.”

Clinton gave special thanks to the committee chairman, Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), whom she said “went far beyond the call of duty to help get my candidacy back on track.”

“One lingering question about me as a politician has been whether people like me enough to vote for me,” she said. “I want to thank you, Trey Gowdy, for making me seem likable.”

The statement ended on an emotional note, in which Clinton said that, if elected, she “will never forget” the Benghazi committee’s role in winning her the White House. “You were there for me when I needed you,” she said."

^^^ much-ado-about nothing transcripts of Sidney Blumenthals ^^^

Only a shallow thinkers and far-Left radicals would consider the emails from Sid Vicious "much-ado-about nothing." They show he was sending unsourced intelligence to Pantsuits-on-fire that she distributed to other government officials on her non-secure server. They also include names of covert operatives distributed through her non-secure server.

Just admit that you don't care about national security, or lying and incompetent Democrat elected or appointed officials. It's easier and much more honest than pretending Hillary is honest or competent while attempting to defend indefensible actions.

My tummy still hurts from laughing at the expressions on the faces of the House Republicans when they realized that the their Select Committee on Benghazi was literally turning into a national Clinton campaign telethon. She was articulate, informed, dignified and downright Presidential, and it couldn't have been a better campaign appearance if she had scripted it herself.

And today I get to laugh even more reading the frantic Gualalan chanting of the Hillary-is-a-liar-Hillary-is-an-incompetent mantra... which was so thoroughly discredited yesterday by the GOP clowns THEMSELVES.

Lordy, this is fun.

>>"Only a shallow thinkers and far-Left radicals would consider the emails from Sid Vicious "much-ado-about nothing.""<<

That's your funniest line yet.

Can't wait to see your explanation for the odd refusal of the Republicans on the Committee to make the "Sid Vicious" transcripts public.

I mean, we know they're shallow thinkers, because they spent eleven hours proving it yesterday, but are they also "far-left radicals"?

This just gets better and better.

"Hillary Rodham Clinton, the former secretary of state, spent hours on Thursday facing down a gang of spiteful Republican lawmakers who once saw great promise in hauling her before a congressional committee to hold her responsible for the deadly attack that killed the American ambassador and three colleagues in Libya in Sept. 2012.

Unsurprisingly, the hearing yielded no new information about the attacks. It quickly and predictably devolved into a partisan battle between Republicans intent on hurting Mrs. Clinton’s bid for the White House and Democrats who sought to make her look presidential.

The pointless grilling of Mrs. Clinton, who fielded a barrage of questions that have long been answered and settled, served only to embarrass the Republican lawmakers who have spent millions of dollars on a political crusade. In recent days, some prominent Republicans have even admitted as much."

Not that the far-Left gives a damn. They think "Lordy, this is fun" and "This just gets better and better" and "Hillary Rocks."

Hillary's supporters are truly pathetic and despotic people.

"Despotic" means "tyrannical"... didn't know there was such a thing as a pathetic tyrant. But I'm always happy to learn.

And thanks again for the laughs!

"Another Republican lawmaker says the House Select Committee on Benghazi is meant to go after former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Rep. Richard Hanna, R-New York, said Wednesday on New York's' WIBX 950, "Sometimes the biggest sin you can commit in D.C. is to tell the truth."

"This may not be politically correct, but I think that there was a big part of this investigation that was designed to go after people and an individual, Hillary Clinton," said Hanna, who is not a member of the committee. "After what Kevin McCarthy said, it's difficult to accept at least a part of it was not. I think that's the way Washington works. But you'd like to expect more from a committee that's spent millions of dollars and tons of time."

Poor francis.

You and your best friend Advil are having a rough day this year, aren't you? Poor baby.

Did I hear someone say something about a GOP Meltdown?

Gotta go francis. Have a great democratic weekend; and thanks to all your republican buddies on the Benghazi committee and in the House. They're the best!

Thanks Trey; $4.7 Million in taxpayer money finally well spent. Beats a Super Bowl ad.

^^^ And thanks again for the laughs! ^^^

I guess Democrat incompetence that exposes national security items or results in the death of 4 Americans is a real knee-slapper for liberals.

^^^ Gotta go francis. ^^^

Good ridance.

The knee-slapper that's entertaining not just liberals but most of the country right now is the complete, humiliating failure of the Republican Party to build its political future on the bodies of those four Americans.

The conservative movement has been utterly and completely exposed for its moral bankruptcy -- their phony concern for the Benghazi victims, their cooking of fake conspiracy theories (remember the one about the White House's "stand-down" order?), and their rank political hackism and abandonment of principle all stand naked before the world -- and that's downright hilarious.

All the GOP's most bloviating bullies were defeated in spectacular fashion on national television by one calm, composed, competent Democratic woman -- a defeat so complete that they wound up WORKING FOR HER. (The hour following the hearing was Hillary's best ever for fundraising from small donors -- Web Link.) And that's bust-a-gut funny.

And of course the desperate Gualalan efforts to deny it all are regular roll-on-the-floor material, but there's nothing unusual about that.

I found the hearing very interesting. It was meaningful to me to see Hillary perform so well when she was "under fire". She was energized and very bright. My impression of her has improved since I normally see her campaigning and trying to raise money on the campaign.

I don't care so much how well a candidate "performs," except as he or she can give a clear picture of his platform and how he would implement it.

Hillary has decades of failure in the corruption department so she's exceedingly unqualified for the nation's highest office. As someone said, if you couldn't trust her for a job at McDonald's why would you trust her with the country?

"Happy Birthday, Hillary Clinton", Web Link

"Monday is Hillary Clinton’s birthday. Don’t bother sending a gift. This week has given her all the presents she needs."

"What a time she’s been having — the debate, Joe Biden’s non-candidacy announcement and then the total meltdown of the Benghazi Committee. It’s not often these days that a special House investigatory committee makes Democrats sing, but there you are."

"Heck of a run for Clinton. And to top everything else off, Lincoln Chafee withdrew from the president’s race, leaving the field wide open for her to grab that metrics issue and run with it."

"Things have been going so well, it’s impossible not to think a disaster is looming. Pop quiz – Hillary Clinton’s next headache will be:

• Revelation that she kept a secret flock of State Department carrier pigeons.

• Revelation that Justin Bieber is an old family friend with whom she corresponds regularly.

• Revelation that major donors to the Clinton Foundation have included El Chapo and Lance Armstrong.

• Revelation that during long family car trips, Clinton’s dog Seamus was kept in the trunk.

• Oh, I don’t know — something about Bill."

Don't worry folks; to those that want to believe, the GOP will come up and out with something - just give them time and tax dollars ... and sit back and wait; it'll come.

And while we are all told to keep our eye on the Clinton witch-hunt for moral and ethical breaches, we see this buried on the back pages: "Wisconsin GOP abolishes John Doe probes, seeks other changes", Web Link

"MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin Republicans are moving at breakneck speed to abolish secret investigations into political corruption such as one that haunted Gov. Scott Walker, do away with the state's unique nonpartisan elections board and legalize coordination between candidates and shadowy issue advocacy groups that don't disclose their donors."

While Gowdy continues to dig himself and his committee deeper on the alleged platform of moral and ethical justice via email, his loser buddy in Wisconsin is breaking all semblances of moral and ethical correctness by making Wisconsin a one political party state.

"How dare you question me", said King Walker; "I am God!"

The conclusion?

Hillary Clinton is the most competent politician in the country. She makes mince meat of the intellectual pipsqueaks.

The GOP has no problem campaigning on the backs of dead Americans. It's fairly certain they hate America, too, given the incredible waste of our money and time that this exercise in political ass-grabbing has cost all of us. Disgusting.

Republicans are too foolish to understand the implications of their political strategy. They have made the 2016 election Hillary's to lose. She has my vote.

Hillary did one heck of a job with the skinks on the House committee but I am still working for Bernie. We need his ideas in this campaign.

I'd vote Bernie in as Chief Personnel Officer, but he's not the CEO we need. Neither is Donald Trump.

"They have no shame: It’s confirmed, Fox News lied egregiously (again) in its latest Benghazi “bombshell”" / "Newly released document confirms that Fox News (with an assist from the GOP) flagrantly lied about Benghazi", Web Link

"On Wednesday, I picked apart the latest attempt by conservatives to churn up some old-fashioned Benghazi conspiracy theorism, as Fox News used some clumsy sleight of hand to suggest that the Obama administration had lied about not being able to save the people under attack at the Libyan diplomatic outpost. Fox’s entire argument was based on a newly released, partially redacted email that, per the conservative network, “contradicted” former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta’s claim that there were no military assets capable of arriving to Benghazi in time to make a difference. As I and others noted, the email didn’t actually contradict Panetta, and the whole thing was trumped-up nonsense. Well, now the Democrats on the Benghazi committee have released the full, unredacted email, and it confirms what we already knew: Fox News lied, and rather egregiously so."

"To refresh everyone on what happened: On the evening of the Benghazi attacks, Panetta ordered special operations and Marine anti-terrorism teams in Europe to deploy to Benghazi, but they arrived in Libya well after the attacks concluded due to logistical and diplomatic hurdles. Fox News reported on an email that Panetta’s then-chief of staff sent while the attacks were happening, which said that the Pentagon had “identified the forces that could move to Benghazi. They are spinning up as we speak.” In Fox News’ version of the email the forces in question had been redacted out, and the conservative network interpreted the message to mean that there were military assets that could have been moved to Benghazi immediately but weren’t. The rest of the conservative media took it as confirmation that the Obama administration had purposefully let people die in Benghazi."

"But, as the unredacted version shows, the forces identified in the email were the same special operations and Marine anti-terrorism teams that Panetta had ordered to respond. As I wrote yesterday, “all Fox News has done is confirm what we already knew: the Defense Department ordered military assets to respond to Benghazi.” There is no story, there is no new information, and there is no conspiracy."

Don't be too alarmed by that sucking sound you may be hearing, folks. It is nothing more than the wind coming out of the sails of the likes of the GOP, Gowdy, republican 'leadership' (and a few others like francis and uff).

Lie as they might, they still have nothing ... nothing but egregious lies and dreams of actually leading something. Poor GOP / Poor Fox News. I hope they learn, sooner rather than later, that lying is morally wrong and not the way to success.

Does Spurious George realize that it is beyond question that Hillary Clinton lied to the families of the victims AND the American people about what caused the attack?

Does Spurious George realize that Hillary Clinton used her own email server in an attempt to avoid FOIA requests and hide her nefarious activities from public view?

Does Spurious George realize that she is still be investigated for her careless handling of state secrets while she was SOS?

Does Spurious George realize that Hillary's lies and actions (and inactions) are far more important than another breathless "FoxNews lie" contrived by a left-wing website?

And finally, does Spurious George know that there is a new TA forum? Seems he has trouble keeping up with things that really matter.

A blind party loyalty means someone won't see that each side has flaws in addition to strengths, or when a candidate's flaws are so pervasive they define her entire character.

One thing I agree (?) with George about is that this older TA format is better than the new one. This one has a 'recent comment' finder, is easier to navigate, puts comments in logical order, and fosters more in depth conversation if people choose.

This has a large window, lets you see all the comments above while typing... so much more functional. The new one may look graphically more pleasing but aside from that, try to name any improvements.

Sooner or later they're going to shut this old forum down.

One thing to consider when posting to the new TA forum is to respond to the original post only. Don't reply to comments or comments on comments.

That way posts stay in order with the most recent comment on top.

Yes, otherwise it's just a jumble.

But the conversation will still read backwards with the most recent at the top. Argh.

Just like email!

It's unnatural! Since when does one read a book from the bottom up? Scroll all the way down to find the bottom of the bottom post. Then go back up to start reading at the top of the bottom post, eyes traveling down the post. Ok, that's done now so go up again past where you just read and then keep going to the top of the next post. Now start reading, going down the page again. Now go back up, then back down. You could get seasick!

Don't I feel foolish. All along I've been thinking this thread was about Benghazi and what the death squad doesn't have, not content and protocol and helpful hints about the new and other TA.

Some folks will do &/or say anything to misdirect, just like those politicians they try hard to protect and support.

There's a name for that.

Well George you're the one still starting the threads here but apparently you don't appreciate the backup. Typical libera, sheesh.

^^^ It's unnatural! ^^^

It's the default behavior in most email applications. At least it is in Safari and Thunderbird. I don't know what default is used for the virus delivery system known as MS Outlook.
