"Animated map renames states for countries with similar GDPs", Web Link
Fun and interesting.
now if we could get all the underdeveloped third world hellholes that hold sway over the rest of us to leave us the locamotive,
alone to pull the rest of the train of losers and fools from those third world hellholes like dakotas, texas, iowa, wisconsin, michigan etc.
Let them deal with their own strife on their own

GDP is a fairly blunt metric. I like to find where specific resources originate and who produces them.
99% of pistachios in the US come from California, e.g.
Iowa is the country's top egg producer, generating over 16 billion eggs last year. That's 20% of the country's eggs.
90 percent of the pumpkins grown in the US are farmed within a 90-mile radius of Peoria, Illinois.
Washington, California and Oregon together produce 90% of sweet cherries. Texas produces 31% of our crude oil.
