I hope you are aware that this event symbolizes the end of the world!!!!

"The reference to the impact is most direct in Joel 2:30-31, which reads, "And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord."

Be very, very afraid Web Link

"Blood and fire and pillars of smoke."

Sounds like the next Republican presidential debate.

Either that or the Universe is ratcheting up its eternal efforts to keep the Cubs out of the playoffs.

Thanks John, for the heads-up.

Ummm,,,,,, BB: Who the heck is Joel? I'm not bothering to google, but I have read the christian bible a couple times (only book allowed while on sentry duty in the USAF) and do not remember any Book of Joel... then again, I am getting old (er than dirt).

George: it's a Do Not Miss Lifetime event. Hope you can see it. My wife and I were lucky enough to see the last on from one of the rest stops on 280, the one that was closed for so many years...

John FYI.

The Book of Joel is part of the Hebrew Bible. Joel is part of a group of twelve prophetic books known as the Twelve Minor Prophets

From one O T D to another

We joke, but based on Trimp's current popularity we could see Republicans panicking and running off cliffs into the ocean in droves. Or is it "roves"?

Trump. Though "Trimp" has a ring. You could call his acolytes Trimpletons.

Trimp! Still smiling...

;-)

Here's another piece on this Supermoon Eclipse: "Set Your Alarm Clocks To See First Supermoon Eclipse In 33 Years On Monday Morning", Web Link

John Gruver was kind enough to give us a heads-up. I'm just providing a reminder. Now I'm not sure we'll see it here. We may, we may not; but "NASA will be streaming it live from Marshall Space Flight Centre in Huntsville, Alabama." (the eclipse, that is)

Isn't nature amazing? Thanks for the heads-up John.

No worries, George. And just in case, be sure you look at ~7:30 PM to ~ 9:30 PM PDT ... your article is for Europe's time zones

Thanks, John.

We watched quite a bit of it all. Beautiful, yet at the same time made me feel so insignificant.

Isn't nature grand?
