High School Wrestling Season ends with a trip to State

The Half Moon Bay High School Wrestling Team completed its best season in history yesterday at the CIF STATE WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIPS. TEAM Duel Meet and Tournament PAL Championship, 4th Place at the Central Coast Section Championship (first ever CCS trophy), 4-CCS Placers and 3- kids qualifying for the STATE Championship in Bakersfield.. Marcos Sarabia finished 1-2, EdRey Casamina went 2-2 and Emilio Bautista was 0-2. The three had their best seasons this year because of all the off season work they did and were relatively injury free.

No rest for our staff as our Club Team and Cunha Team start up March 16 and 17th

Only 3-kids graduate off Varsity starting lineup. EdRey will be back better then ever next year!

That is great news and well-earned. We're all proud of these young men!
